“ Saturday night around 8pm, no wait and one of the best parts of the night was the hostess told us there was live music and then asked if we wanted a quieter seat in the back room or to sit in the main room with the music. This was a great way to start as I’m not a fan of live music with dinner and I was visiting family I hadn’t seen in a while and wanted to talk without having to yell. Anyways, service was very good, quick and attentive. I enjoyed my burger and fries. I thought the prices were reasonable. I would go back if I was in the area again. ”

“ 98 Mill was fantastic! On 9/1/25, we got married and had reservations at another restaurant for 12 people. Our families arrived at the other restaurant in St J to find them closed! They quickly found 98 Mill and they accommodated us, all 12 of us, last minute. We are SO incredibly thankful for fitting us in. Not to mention the food was amazing, we got appetizers and a wide variety of meals and drinks. Afterwards, everyone talked about how delicious the food was and the wonderful service from our server — she was truly amazing. Thank you so much 98 Mill for having us on our wedding day. We will be back every year on our anniversary! ”

“ Very cool renovated turn of the century mill with great Italian food + American lunch classics, like burgers and fried chicken sandwiches. I believe all of the food is made from scratch. The outside patio could use some candels or lanterns for ambiance. I will change my review to 5 stars once they switch to Heinz ketchup. Definitely coming back. ”

“ I am from out of state and needed a family event catered over Memorial Day weekend. I reached out to 98 Mill and Robin was extremely helpful assisting me to plan the menu. The food delivery and set up had no added cost. The food was delicious, hot, and plentiful. We received many compliments from our guests on the food. We also stopped by the restaurant for dinner the night before the event and loved the food and atmosphere. I highly recommend 98 Mill for dinner or to cater a buffet. ”

“ A full house on all counts from me. I can highly recommend the prawn & sweetcorn chowder, lobster ravioli in garlic sauce & shrimp & escalope with truffle fries. Sorry, no room for dessert. Good ales and wine. Great service from our server Taylor. Reasonable prices for great food! Easy parking. I would highly recommend. ”

“ Second visit 5/11/24: food was good, not as good as last time, Service was definitely lacking; clearly new staff... $15 cocktail! OMG!! Last time we went on a week night and the place was busy and really fun, this time, Saturday, there were lots of empty tables, Visit #1: Delicious food: amazing burger and I was able to get gluten free risotto as a side but they even have a separate gluten free fryer so I could have gotten French fries and several other fried foods ... My husband got the steak which was delicious, my cousin got the haddock and she loved it ... Excellent atmosphere; beautiful old mill building with several of the old mill workings in place, and beams, really great except there are big screen TVs, but it's really nice. There's a beautiful outside sitting area that I look forward to sitting at on a warmer day. There was live music which was very enjoyable and not so loud that you can't talk. Our server was so nice and attentive, really great! We had a wonderful time and I'm looking forward to going again! ”
